Senior Civil Design Engineer

Our client is a leading design consultancy with over 50 years industry experience.

This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of high profile projects across education, healthcare, residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

The successful Senior Civil Engineer will have design office experience with a consultancy or contractor.

Further skills and knowledge required:

• Degree (BEng/MEng or similar) in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered would be desirable but not essential.
• Road Design to 'National Road Development Guide', and Local Authority Standards.
• Produce technical reports  as required.
• Knowledge of and ability to deliver drainage principles (layout, parameters, etc.), surface water and foul drainage designs.
• Obtaining statutory approvals with Scottish Water and SEPA.
• Experience in Civil 3D and Microdrainage would be beneficial.
• Knowledge and understanding of 'Design Manual for Roads and Bridges' (DMRB).
• Ability to work as part of  an experienced team of professionals.
• High standards of written and oral communication.
