Senior Civil Drainage Engineer

Our client has over 35 years civil/structural consultancy design experience and has quickly grown to over 100 employees across 5 offices throughout Scotland.

They are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with drainage experience. 

• Degree (BEng/MEng or similar) in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated would be preferred but not essential.
• Design of roads to 'National Road Development Guide', and Local Authority Standards.
• Experience of delivering highway drainage principles such as layout & parameters, design of surface water and foul drainage systems.
• Obtain required approvals from Scottish Water and SEPA.
• Use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience in Microdrainage would be preferred.
• Knowledge of DMRD - Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.
• Able to work within a team of experienced design professionals.
• Strong communication, both written and oral.
