Senior Structural Technician

Due to a healthy forward workload our client are looking to appoint a Structural Cad Technician for their office in Perth.

The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the residential, retail, logistics and commercial sectors.

The position is 5 days office based, though hybrid could be an option.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Provide detailed structural drawings in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber in Auto Cad software packages.
• Liaise with other members of staff and the design team.
• Maintain and promote our clients Technical standards.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• A consultancy  background is preferred, with a proven track record in delivering high standards of cad design.
• Strong Auto Cad software skills essential with communication and numerical skills.
• Flexible and  enthusiastic approach to working within a team structure.
• Confidence and ability to maximise the level of responsibility taken on projects, small and large.
• Supervise junior technicians.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum HNC/HND Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
